Client Policies
Confidentiality
All personal, health, and session information is kept private. This includes intake forms, verbal discussions, and therapist observations.
Information is only shared with written consent or when legally required for safety or in emergencies.
Informed Consent
Clients are informed of the treatment plan before each session.
Clients have the following rights:

Consent is an ongoing process and may be withdrawn at any moment.
Health Disclosure

Please note: Non-disclosure of this information may compromise the safety and effectiveness of your treatment.
Contraindications
Appointments may be postponed, modified, or declined due to the presence of:

Local Contraindications

Note: Local contraindications may necessitate avoiding specific areas during the session.
Hygiene Expectations
For the safety and comfort of everyone, we ask clients to:

Maintain reasonable personal hygiene before arrival

Refrain from wearing strong perfumes or essential oils

Inform your therapist immediately if you have any contagious conditions
Adherence to these guidelines helps protect the well-being of both your therapist and other clients.
Draping & Privacy
Proper draping is maintained at all times, ensuring that only the area being worked on is exposed, and sensitive areas are always covered.
Abdomen, glute, or inner thigh work requires clear consent.
Client modesty and comfort are respected.
Communication During Session
Clients are encouraged to communicate:

Any pain or discomfort

Emotional responses
Massage is collaborative, not passive.
Prenatal Considerations
Pregnancy must be disclosed.
Sessions are adapted for positioning, pressure, and circulatory safety.

Professional Boundaries
Therapeutic sessions require clients to maintain respectful conduct toward the therapist, the space, and the therapeutic process.
For the safety and respect of both parties, inappropriate requests, sexual conversation, and personal advances are strictly prohibited.
Session Termination
The therapist reserves the right to terminate a session if a client:

Appears intoxicated

Crosses professional boundaries

Presents an evident health risk
Client safety is the paramount concern and takes precedence over completing the scheduled session.
Business Policies
Scheduling Policy
All sessions must be scheduled in advance to allow for necessary preparation and to confirm availability.
An appointment request is considered confirmed only after the following steps are complete:

The session time has been mutually agreed upon

The client intake process is finished (for new clients)

Any necessary deposit has been successfully received
Please note that walk-in appointments are subject to current availability and cannot be guaranteed.
All sessions will strictly adhere to the scheduled start and end times.
Late Arrival Policy
Sessions will conclude at the originally scheduled time, even for clients who arrive late.
The full session fee remains due.
This policy is necessary to ensure:

Respect for subsequent appointments

Maintaining consistent treatment flow
For clients demonstrating a pattern of chronic lateness, prepayment may be required for future bookings.
Cancellation Policy
To cancel or reschedule an appointment, a minimum of 24 hours' notice is preferred.
Late Cancellations (Less than 24 Hours)
Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will result in:

A partial charge for the scheduled session

Forfeiture of any deposit paid
Exceptions to this policy may be granted for documented emergencies, at the therapist's discretion.
Repeated Late Cancellations
Clients with a history of repeated late cancellations may be required to:

Prepay for future sessions

Have limited access to booking times
No-Show Policy
Clients who fail to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notification ("no-show") may incur a charge for the full session fee.
For future bookings, clients with a history of no-shows or late cancellations may be required to:

Pay in advance for the session

Provide a deposit
Clients with repeated no-shows risk the refusal of any future appointment requests.
Payment Policy
Payment is expected at the time of service, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed upon in advance.
The accepted payment methods are clearly listed and communicated.
Non-payment may lead to the following consequences:

Suspension of the ability to book future services

A requirement for mandatory prepayment for any subsequent bookings
Deposits
A deposit may be required for specific services, new clients, or extended sessions.
A deposit:

Packages & Prepaid Services
All packages have a specified period within which the sessions must be utilized.
Unused Sessions

Are subject to expiration after the validity period ends
Transferability
Packages may only be transferred to another party with the explicit approval of the therapist.
Pricing Policy

Service rates are subject to change, with prior notice provided

The cost of package deals may differ from the price of individual sessions

Promotional rates are valid for a limited duration
Refund Policy
Services
All completed services are final and non-refundable.
Prepaid Sessions
Refunds for prepaid sessions are only considered under exceptional circumstances.
Products
Unopened products may be refunded if returned within the specified return window.

Sanitation & Workplace Safety

All linens are replaced

The treatment table and tools are disinfected

Oils, creams, and tools are maintained in hygienic storage.
Therapist Illness Policy
In the event of therapist illness:

Sessions will be rescheduled
Client Illness Policy
To protect the therapist and other clients, we may ask clients who present with a contagious illness to reschedule their appointments.
Documentation Policy
The practice maintains essential documentation, including:

Right to Refuse Service
The following may result in a decline of services:

Self-Capacity Policy
To ensure the maintenance of quality care, physical safety, and professional longevity, the therapist maintains the right to limit their workload.
Overbooking is avoided as it negatively impacts effectiveness and heightens risk.
Policy Updates
As the practice evolves, policies may be updated.
Clients will be notified of all significant policy changes.
